New Maybelline Baby Lips!!

Hey guys!!

So as told I finally got the Maybelline Baby Lips. I'd gone to the Beauty Center at Crawford Market yesterday and I'd thought the Maybelline counter there will not have baby lips as I'd not seen them the day before. But when I asked for them, the SA pulled 3 of them out. I guess there are 6 or 7 of these baby lips.

The 3 that they had were Pink Lolita, Berry Kiss and Coral Crush. I'd planned to get one clear and one tinted one but they didn't have any clear ones. So..I got both the tinted ones! Will get the clear one next time! ;)

And as you guys might know they cost Rs.150/- but I got them for Rs.135/- (if you buy them at the Beauty Centers you get some discounts on each and every product you buy and from any brand! That's why I always love going there.)
So this is not a review of them, I have just got them and will review them after some days. I wanted to show to guys how cute they look and ALSO you get free cute keychains with each which also double up as a lip balm holder! Although these ones look so cute, I like the Baby Lips version of the UK/US one more cuter!

(Warning: I went a little over-board with the photos. I just can't stop thinking how cute they look. So LOTS of pictures ahead!)

Aren't those keychains super cute?!! :D

Outfit Inspiration- Jewel Toned Jeans!!

Hello guys!

So I am doing an Outfit Inspiration post after so many days!! And today I thought about doing it on Jewel toned jeans which are IN this fall/ winter! I seriously want to get one colored pant. I am not the bright hot-pink pant person, I'd like to get something which will not go out of fashion and I can wear it whenever I want to. And if you think like me then this post is for you! :)

I love how Wendy from Wendy's Lookbook styles her outfits! You'll love all of her outfits.
I want this caramel/ light brown colored one!! I WANT!

I LOVE how Rati di from IMBB and Faux Pas styled her Burgundy and Deep Blue pants! I'll link both her outfit posts below the pictures. :)

Colorbar Indian Eye Kohl/Kajal Review and Swatches!

Hey guys! Hope you liked my previous post on the little diy I did.

Today I am going to review an eye kohl or let us better call it our kajal by Colorbar. This was my first product from the brand Colorbar USA. I had got this from Urbantouch.com  last October and I have used it since then.

Price:- I'd got it for Rs.125/- (but I guess it is now for Rs.150/-)

What it claims:-
Colorbar Kajal is smooth to apply and gives the eyes a dramatic jet black color

What I think about this:-
First I'd like to talk about the super sexy packaging of this Kajal! I LOVE how cool it looks. I like it's packaging more than the Colossal Kajal's yellow packaging. Although this one need to be sharpened and the Colossal one comes with a twist-up packaging.I have used this for probably a year now (you can tell, it's size has reduced. It was as long as the box) and its really a good and jet-black kajal. It is a fat Kajal pencil like the NYX Jumbo Pencils.
It is really smooth to apply so no tugging near the eyes. It has a very slight smell of a typical Kajal which I don't think will be a problem for anyone.
The only thing I don't like about this is that it smudges on your waterline and doesn't last long. It smudges in 3-4 hours! I remember I always used to wipe the bottom of my waterline to see if it has smudged or not. Other than that it is a good pencil and I think we can make it work with applying a back eyeshadow on top of this to make it last longer (I'll try this and let you know). And it is definitely better than the Lakme Kajal (not referring to the Eyeconic one, the other Lakme Kajal).

when smudged after 1 minute of swatching :(

Pros:-
1. very black
2. smooth and creamy, hence easy application
3. packaging is good and sturdy
4. inexpensive
5. doesn't irritate the waterline

Cons:-
1. needs to be sharpened (not a problem for me)
2. smudges within 3-4 hours
3. not a good idea to use it as an eyeliner

Will I repurchase it?:- No, I love my Colossal Kajal which is way better than this and now want to try the Eyeconic one. :)

DIY- Glitter Hair Clips/Pins!

Hey guys!

So here's a cool and very simple DIY I tried yesterday. I was getting my daily dose of Pinterest and came across this certain pin which said 'add some glitter to your life' and it had SO many diy's to add some glitter to things we wouldn't even have imagined! I wanted to do one of those and decided to do the easiest one which was to make our boring bobby pins and clips glittery! :D

Here is the original post from which I took the inspiration.

Things I used-
1. Old Glitter Nail Polishes
2. Top Coat
3. Newspaper (to keep the clips on and paint)

Here are the step-by-step photos.

Above are the boring black hair-clips. I decided to do the diy on clips rather than on the bobby pins.

One pair I used the Dark Glitter Polish with red glitter. In above picture the left clip has two coats of the polish and the right one has only one coat.

Taa-daa!!! This is how they look!! One pair with red glitter and other with silver almost pink glitter! What do you guys think about my small DIY??
Below is the photo of how they look in my hair! :D

Have you guys tried any such cool DIY's and loved the results? :)

Maybelline Lip Smooth In Mandarin, Strawberry and Dolly Rose Review and Swatches!

Hey everyone!

So today I am going to review a product which I have been using for more that a year now and I realized it today that I haven't reviewed it at all! It is the Maybelline Lip Smooths. Initially I'd bought two of them in Mandarin and Strawberry and after using them for some time I ordered a 3rd one in Dolly Rose. So why only a photo of the Mandarin one?
Because one of my friends destroyed the Dolly Rose one (she twisted out all the chapstick and then it didn't go inside and broke) and the Strawberry one met the same fate but this time I was checking how much is left.. :( So I depotted them both in an empty lip balm jar.

Price- Rs.99/-

What I think about them-
I know you guys might have seen tons of reviews of these lip smooths but I thought I'll add mine too.
I bought them after reading reviews on IMBB and Mandarin was something I wanted. I LOVED all of these..they moisturise your lips without the waxy and heavy feeling. And they also give a very pretty sheen and tint to your lips. I have religiously used the Mandarin one for a while now. The same would have been the case with the other two if they were still intact. You can see there is a whole in my mandarin one in the photo. I carry this everyday to college with me.
But I think they do give a little bit of sticky feeling. Otherwise I loved them, but now I am more addicted to my Nivea Fruity Shine in Pink Guava.

Here are the swatches of all the 3 lip smooths. Strawberry and Dolly Rose may look similar in swatches but the Dolly Rose one gives a more pretty and bright pink tint than the Strawberry one.

And this how I keep the Dolly Rose and Strawberry in a pot. I could save very little amount of the Dolly Rose one and it was the newest and probably my favourite amongst the three. :(

Pros:-
1. Light on lips
2. Moisturises well
3. Gives pretty tint
4. Pocket friendly
5. Nice and cute packaging
6. Stays on for 3-4 hours

Cons:-
1. Applying too much can give a slight sticky feeling
2. The twist-up thing may not work properly as it happened with me.

Will I repurchase them?- I was going to, but now I am more eager to get the Baby Lips and more of Nivea Fruity Shines.

A little update!

Hello guys!

I know I am posting after so many days, but seriously you have heard it a zillion times that I don't want to bore you by repeating why I was not posting and all that..

Now, I wasn't doing any posts shouldn't be taken as I went away from blogger and didn't read any posts or so.. I used to come and read posts almost every other day just because I like that, and find Youtube and reading blogposts more interesting than watching television (but I do watch t.v. too). But I didn't have any matter on my mind to do a post on or even if I wanted to, I wasn't ready with the usual photos and stuff..

Okay, enough about all that..now other than doing the things mentioned above I got hooked on something else these past 2-3 weeks! And I am loving it so much that I thought I'll share it here with you guys.

So here it goes..while I was pinning stuff on Pinterest (as usual) I came across some cool pins about organization and when I visited the sites I was introduced to a whole new world of Home Organization Bloggers!! And believe me I was hooked to these blogs from day 1. And who are these bloggers you ask? They are none other than cool moms trying to make their homes (and others) a better and functional place. Isn't that cool? :)

And now you ask, how come all of a sudden I am into home decor and stuff? Well, here it is. I am actually an architecture student (the BIG REVEAL! lol!) and so that being said I love all things related to that and interior design and so on..and its been on my mind for some days now about making a separate blog where I will post interior decor ideas and also I have a major (read majorly major) home organization project which I felt like doing after getting inspired from these blogs. I am just not able to make a final decision about it. Because if I started posting all that here, its going to be all jumbled up. So you probably are going to get the news in next few days.

And all that being said I now want you guys to check out these amazing Home Organization Blogs and I warn you, you are going to get inspired too!

1. A Bowl Full Of Lemons
2. I Heart Organizing
3. Organizing Made Fun
4. Ask Anna
5. Delightful Order

(p.s.- There many more such blogs, while I search and enjoy going through more of them you guys check the above listed. And if you find one which you like and is not mentioned leave me a link to it. I'd love to check that out!).

Bub-bye~ :)
