Anherb Natural Body Lotion Review!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Today I am reviewing another product from the brand Anherb Natural and it’s a Body Lotion. This thing I absolutely love and first got it when I was in the Beauty Centre with my mom and we were hunting for a good body lotion for the winter time. The lady at this counter started showing us products from this brand and we decided to give it a try. And I must tell you I got this same thing again the next time! So I have used two tubes of this body lotion and I feel it deserves a review! So here we go:-

What it claims to do:
This light weight, quick absorbing & non-greasy formula provides long lasting moisturisation, conditioning and softness to all skin types including sensitive skin.

M.R.P.: 159INR/- for 150ml (which is less than the face cream which was for 165INR)

Packaging: Comes in a similar packaging as the face cream and in same size in a white and green squeezy tube with green cap. Again everything’s mentioned and it is handy to travel with.

Ingredients: Have attached a picture showing the list of ingredients below.

What I think about it:
I have all good things to say about this lotion! I have used this during the winters when my skin on my body goes super dry and I have a history of skin problems so my skin gets sensitive during the  winters( not the skin on my face thank god!). This body lotion does all what it claims, it moisturizes really well and is not heavy or greasy and soothes my skin. It has a good consistency i.e. it’s neither too thick nor too runny and it is super smooth(you'll see that in the swatch below). It‘s like how a body lotion should be.
And I don’t know what else to say, I already love this and I know I am going back to this product for the winter time. But the smell of it may be a problem for some since its little weird smelling. The 2nd tube I got had smell like that of Veet!! :O :/
Other than that I don’t think there’s anything which anyone will have a problem with. I and my mom love this lotion and I highly recommend this one if you haven’t found the body lotion which works for you!

you can see how smooth and creamy it is!

Will I buy this again?: YES!!! Definitely! This one is much better than all those Pond’s and Vaseline Lotions out there! :P

Tahitian Blue Eye Look!

Hey guys!!
So here's an eye look I tried on Wednesday and I used Miss Claire eye pencil in 'Tahitian Blue' as a base for the shadow and hence the name of the look! ;)
Here's the link to that review: http://beingpretty-anindiangirlsblog.blogspot.in/2012/04/miss-claire-eye-pencils-in-denim-blue.html

So I'll let the pictures do the talking and I am sorry the look didn't turn out that great and I used my VOV palette hence the eye shadow fallout you see around my eye, but I thought I'll show you guys nevertheless.. ;-)

Anherb Naturals Fairness Face Cream Review!

Hey guys! So how is your weekend going on? Mine is going good, just ate some yummy pizza my mom made! ^_^

So now I am reviewing a product from a brand which is not that famous and I’ve hardly seen any reviews of anything from this brand on any blogs. It’s a Face Cream from a brand called Anherb Naturals and I got this from the Beauty Centre at Crawford Market, so may be it’ll be available at other Beauty Centre’s too. I don’t know exactly since I go only to the one in Crawford Market. They have a wide range of products from face creams to body lotions, night cream or nourishing cream, etc. and I have tried some of their other products too and you’ll see that in the upcoming posts.

What it claims to do:
New Anherb fairness cream is a unique active-fairness treatment that imparts instant fairness. Along with vita-oliv complex it works throughout the day, clears blemishes & reveal visibly fairer- even complexion with matte effect. Triple action sunscreen helps protect skin from UV rays, tanning and dark spots. Finally imparts natural glow to skin. Regular use, prepares you to face the world with confidence.

M.R.P. – 165INR/- for 150gm

Packaging: It comes in a big white and pink squeezy tube with pink cap. All the ingredients and everything is mentioned. Over all it’s a decent packaging and is handy for travelling too.

Ingredients: Here’s a picture of the ingredient list and it doesn’t contain any Parabens and they don’t do animal testing (its mentioned on the tube).

What I think about it:
I have used this for a long time now and I have mixed feelings about it. It does pretty much all the things it claims i.e. instant fairness- yes, you get a little ‘instant’ glow on your face but its not like it makes you fair. I think it’s just the glow. It is actually matte, the moment you apply it you get the matte effect on your face. The cream looks like those Fair and Lovely creams and has a feel of it too since it has little shimmer in it. But it spreads nicely on your face and then gives the matte look but I think if I use a little more quantity than usual, it makes me sweat on the face which is something we don’t want right!
But this has never given me any break-out or blemishes or anything like that. Incase you are wondering I have normal to dry skin. And it makes me sweat sometimes so I am not sure how well it’ll fare with oily skinned girls.
Other than that I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about this cream. But I wasn’t using this during the winter and have resumed its use now. Even my mom uses this every single day.
So I am pretty happy with this cream and I have also used two more products from this brand and will be reviewing them next!
And if you see this brand and are confused whether to get anything or not, I suggest you definitely give it a try! It’s a really nice brand and hasn’t disappointed me and my mom. I’ve also tried their Body Lotion(2 tubes down!) and Milk and Honey Nourishing Cream which is like a night cream and really good for massaging your skin after scrubbing and cleansing. J

Will I buy this again?: YES for the brand, maybe no for the face cream. They also have face packs and soaps and many more and I want to try some of those. Waiting for my next trip to Beauty Center. :D

Nail Trend Nail Polish in "Ruby Red"!!

Hey everyone! I hope your weekend's going pretty good..

Today after many days I am doing a NOTD post..with a polish I got recently. It a deep blood red color and yes I loved that color, its my 2nd red nail polish and I am not much of a neon or super bright red colors. So this one is dark and looks really good!
Nail Trend is a brand which you'll see in supermarkets, and I guess its manufactured by Reliance because it has that written on its back. I have four of these Nail Trends ones and they are come for only 15INR/- and in small cute bottles. And I think I 've done two coats of it. They also stay for 3-4 days without chipping I guess coz I don't remember how long I'd worn it.. I usually get bored of my nail paints in 2-3 days and remove it.. :P
     Now here are the pictures:

Have you tried any of the Nail Trend Nail Polishes? What do you think of this one? :)

Miss Claire Eye Pencils in Denim Blue and Tahitian Blue, Review, swatches

Hey everyone!
Today I am reviewing Miss Claire Eye Pencils called the Glimmersticks in the shades ‘denim blue’ and ‘tahitian blue’.
These come for I think somewhere around 150 INR/- each and in various shades. I have three more of these in Black, White and a grey one called Graphite which have been reviewed already.

Packaging:
It comes with a silver lid and the rest of the pencil is in the color of the liner. It has to be sharpened.

My take on the product:
Since I already had tried some liners from this brand and I wanted to get some fun colored eye liners I got these two! And I’d had them for some months now.
Now on to the two shades..Denim Blue is a pretty blue shade with shimmer and looks my warm brown eyes pop! Whereas Tahitian Blue is not blue at all, it is dark green in fact and matt with no shimmer at all! They are creamy in texture and pigmented but now the problem arises..it doesn’t stay long!! It fades that too unevenly. Yeah..I have tried them at home first so that I know how long they stay but I noticed they stay on one eye and fades on another! This is not what we want our liners to do right??!!  And they smudge as well. And they don’t come with testers as well..so you can’t swatche them..
I haven’t dared to use these to college after that! But I tried some eyeshadow swatches on with these as base and it works that way! So I can use them when I do looks atleast!
But I still love the other grey one from Miss Claire called ‘Graphite’!

Tahitian Blue on left, Denim Blue on right

smudged! :/

Will I buy these again?: No!! I am looking forward to get my hands on some Faces liners instead.

Just Candy Lipstick in Smoke Rose Review!

Hey everyone!
So now I am reviewing a lipstick which I got last year and you might have seen it in some super old haul!

This lipstick is from a brand called Just Candy! Never heard about it right! Same here!
But hey, I was in a hurry and wanted to get a lipstick for some occasion in college and also low on budget.. So when the lady at the store told me its only for 100 INR/- I got it!
I got it in a shade called Smoke Rose. Its a dull pink color with little shimmer in it or it has a frosty finish. Its not matt.

Packaging: It comes in a dark plum color plastic packaging which seems cheap! Ohh and its manufactured by some Viva Cosmetics.

Here are the swatches: swatched twice.

I have used this less than ten times I think. I don't like it, its drying and the frosty finish makes me look older..that's what I think..
So this review is gonna be really short..and I suggest not to buy this lipstick!
But I have a lipgloss from it too which is pretty good.

Will I buy this again?: NO!! Why to buy cheapo ones when we have Maybelline lipsticks which are affordable and worth every penny!

Maybelline Hypercurl Volum' Express Mascara Review!!

Hey guys!! So hows everyone doing?
I am so sorry for being MIA for these many days!! Lemme tell you the reason..it was the season of never-ending submissions and lots of work load..and which finally has a happy's ending's with the theory exams!! Huh! So that was THE reason for my long absence..
I don't know if anyone missed me or not but I missed blogging! And I have SO many reviews to do for you guys! I promise you are gonna get the best of me only when I have my vacations on..

So..today I am reviewing the already so many times reviewed  mascara.. which is the Maybelline Hypercurl Volum' Express Mascara! Oh ya..its my first mascara!

Packaging:
It looks cute and I like the packaging! Looks classy!

I got the shade 'Very Black' and its waterproof too!
The wand has a gentle bend and gives pretty good application. Although using it on lower lashes can be a little hassle!

without mascara
with 2 coats of mascara on upper and lower lashes!
my tiny lashes! :'(

Above are the pics showing how it looks on my eye lashes. Let me tell you one thing..I have super thin and short lashes, and they are almost invisible! Sob! :'(
My younger brother has longer and dark lashes! Why?
This mascara is not for you if like the fake lash type effect.. It is ideal for college going girls who are just starting out and obviously don't wanna look too dolled up.
It stays whole day without chipping, I don't see any particles around my eyes from this mascara. And it does gives little curl to your lashes.

Will I buy this again? : Yes, its perfect for everyday wear for college. But I also want to try the Colossal one! :-)

And I am now on Pinterest! Don't forget to follow me there!
