Lets get Organized- cute DIY box for rings!!

Hey guys, like I have said in my Jewelry Organization Ideas post that I had done a small DIY too and I am going to share it with you guys today!

I realized that although I had some cute rings and bracelets I rarely used to wear them to college and the reason was they were not kept in the most organized way and I just wore whatever I could get my hands on..that means literally the same earrings 3 times a week..and no ring and bracelet at all! (I wear my Fastrack watch everyday!)
So I decided to make it work for me..and first thought of making a cute box to keep my rings in..

I have used the packaging of one of the Garnier products..I had 2-3 Garnier empty boxes lying around and thought of utilizing those to make something in which I can keep my rings in.. I don't have a huge ring collection so I used a small box..

I just looked around the house if I can get some things which can be used in a better way rather than to keep some random junk. For today's DIY I have used the smallest Garnier box to the left. I also found that Hexagonal acrylic box and a metal mickey box (both chocolate boxes) when I cleaned my stationary and painting stuff..hence that hexagonal box is so dirty! I have used them too, that post will be coming soon.. :)

 First I cut the top off and gave it a little shape, which I agree came out a little weird.. :X
Then I taped all the sides from outside for extra strength and used tinted paper I stuck pink paper inside and blue on the outside of it. I have used Fevibond which comes in a yellow tube and is clear with yellow tint, you can also use Decoration Glue which is clear glue.

Then since the edges were not looking that great, I highlighted them with black marker..and the fun part..added glitter polka dots on the blue surface!! :D 

I LOVE how cute it looks after that! ;)

 The Blue, Gold and Silver glittery polka dots!! <3 :D  And we are done!! I tossed in my rings, I still have enough space in there..I can add more rings to it! ;)

I got the cute white flower ring from Bandra recently, I LOVE it!! :)

Lets get Organized- Jewelry Organization Ideas!

Hey guys! As mentioned in one of my previous posts about doing some home organization posts after getting inspired and all that..I thought I'll start with some ideas that I loved to store jewelry in a creative and cool way. And then I'll show you guys how I keep my tiny jewelry collection stuff as well (still working on it though).

Now as we all know, in India having a big or walk-in closet is quite a luxury! Why are houses/apartments in India not designed that way with closets? We can have a built-in closet atleast. I have that complaint..but I promise when I start designing I'll include closets in my designs for sure. Haha! We deserve built-in closets too! :D

So obviously I too don't have a closet, and guess what I don't even have a decent vanity table..sob.. Now my problem was I didn't want any display kinda storage since things get dusty here pretty fast, that means something to keep in the cupboard but in a cute yet functional way. Hence, here are some ideas I liked and also I'll link some DIY jewelry organizer posts that I liked. :)

 How cute is that!! I think this is my favorite one! Those cupcake moulds (moulds??) look so cute! We can also use the ones which hold small candles, the simple metal ones with just plain wax inside. :)

 This is cool too, for categorizing your stuff.

 And we will not have any problem in finding a nice plate like the one above with beautiful traditional details in our homes! Right? :D

Accessories and Small Beauty Haul!!

Hey guys! Hope you are having a nice weekend! :)

Here is a small haul where I have majority of accessories and few (only two) beauty stuff. I recently picked these and thought of doing an accessories haul.

I loved these rings, somehow I never used to get any cute and funky rings and got really happy when I found these just for 5INR/- each!! Haha!

Then I have two pair of earrings, the heart one's are so cute and they have 'I LOVE YOU' written on them.

The other one has deep blue almost black crystal which I liked! I have a lot of earrings, so wanted to get something different this time.

 Then the glittery bangle type things are actually hair ties which I wanted after I saw one of my friend's wearing these! Great to just add a nice glitter and detail to any boring or simple outfit! Got 5 pieces in a pack for 20 INR/-

Then I finally got the Nivea Fruity Shine in 'Pink Guava' (129 INR/-) and the Garnier Tinted Eye Roll-on for (99 INR/-). Now I want to get more of the fruity shines!! :D
