Black-Grey Smokey Eye Look Tutorial!

Hey guys!
So here is the tutorial of the Black-Grey Smokey Eye Look I did in the previous post. I haven't used any eyeshadow here. So what have I used?



Products used:-
1. Garnier tinted eye roll-on (as concealer and primer)
2. Lakme Rose powder  (to smudge the harsh edges of eyeshadow)
3. Colorbar Indian Eye Kohl (as a black base)
4. Miss Claire Cake eyeliner in Black (it's a powder eyeliner which I used as a shadow)
5. Miss Claire Eyeliner Pencil in Graphite (to add little shimmer and grey color)
6. Maybelline Colossal Kajal (to tightline and on waterline)
7. Just Candy Black Liquid Liner
8. Maybelline Hyper Curl Volum Express Mascara

1. First I started with a clean moisturized face. Then used my eye-roll on as a concealer and primer.

2. Then used Lakme Rose Powder on it.

3. Here, I applied the Colorbar Eye Kohl on my lid so that whatever we apply next will have a good base.

4. Using an eyeshadow brush smudged the eye kohl.

5. Now applied the Miss Claire Cake eyeliner over the kohl.
Then taking the Miss Claire Eyeliner Pencil in Graphite, I applied it in the inner corner of the eyes and also the inner half. So we get a little grey shimmer.
I again tapped some black shadow (cake eyeliner) to darken it and in the crease.
Smudge any harsh lines!

6. Then tightlined my eyes, used the cake eyeliner on outer half of my lower line and added Graphite over it.

7. Then added mascara, did a winged eyeliner, smudged any harsh lines and we are done! :)

Black-Grey Smokey Eye Look!

Hey there guys!

I am doing an eye look after months if I am not wrong. I was just bored sitting at home and to top it my mood wasn't good. So I decided to try an eye-look. Now, I don't have any eyeshadow pallete left or should I say haven't bought any in a while. Then I decided to try it with whatever I have and the first thought that came to my mind was of doing a smokey eye! I never really do dramatic looks so I was more excited to one!

And..I am also going to post a tutorial of this! :) My first (or is it second?) tutorial!! 

(p.s.- kindly ignore my eyebrows, I need to get something that'll make them better.)

Do you do makeup when you are bored??!!

Hello guys! And yeah, the title is a question to you guys..do you do that?
I do that sometimes (or most of the times during my vacations)!! College is keeping me busy these days, staying up till late at night which results in getting up late in the morning and just doing everything in a hurry.. So obviously makeup is something I am not doing that much these days..but I do feel like wearing it sometimes and that usually happens on the weekends! :P

Last Saturday I wore some makeup, and I was just at home! I applied my Maybelline Gel Liner and also little bit of the Jordana Loose Shadow in Bronze Medal (which is actually a pretty gold color) on my lower lash line which I did something like that for the first time and I really  liked the way it was looking!!

Soft Purple Eye Look!

Hello everyone!
Here's another look I did last week, and it was meant to be a pink eye look, but since I'd used the Miss Claire eye pencil in Graphite as a base for the shadow which is a pretty grey color, it turned out a little purple on the camera! And I have used soft brown in the crease as a transition color.

Tahitian Blue Eye Look!

Hey guys!!
So here's an eye look I tried on Wednesday and I used Miss Claire eye pencil in 'Tahitian Blue' as a base for the shadow and hence the name of the look! ;)

So I'll let the pictures do the talking and I am sorry the look didn't turn out that great and I used my VOV palette hence the eye shadow fallout you see around my eye, but I thought I'll show you guys nevertheless.. ;-)

Blush as an Eye shadow???!!!

Hey everyone!!

How's everything going??!!
Yeah you guessed it write from the title...I have used my blush as an eye shadow here(and lightly applied black matte shadow in the crease)!!
And I like the result..its looks so subtle and pretty..can be worn on festive occasions!
I have used my V.O.V. Blush which I have reviewed already.

What do ya think of this look??  :D

Pink and Gold Diwali Eye look!

Here's another Diwali look I'd done.. Its a pink and gold look.. the look is pretty subtle thats why the camera was not able to catch it properly..
And I'll also post the look I did yesterday evening to go out with friends. It was not much of a look but still.. :)

Green-n-Brown Diwali Eye look!

Hey everyone!!

Here's a simple look I did which I think is good for diwali!!
I have seen many combinations of brown and green in sarees and dresses..and it does look good together.. So I thought of doing a look like that..and I have used brown eye liner as well. (please kindly ignore my bad eyebrows!)
I used my new V.O.V. palette and I am disappointed!! The colors are good but thy are not that pigmented..or they fail to show in pictures..

Anyways..tell me what you guys think about this look..

Eye look using new V.O.V. Palette!

Here's another eye look I did using my new palette! This one and the previous look were just a trial I was doing..
Will do proper looks later.. Since I did this look in the evening..there was no chance I could take a photo in natural light..

Simple everyday look?!!

So here I am with the first look with my new palette!! I got that palette because it had fun colours!!
I tried this eye look which turned out something like an everyday look! Ha!
And see this is my first look in which I am wearing a mascara! Yeah..its not that visible..but hey..its my first mascara and I am learning! ;)

Tutorial-Pink and purple eye look!

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi Everyone!!!!!!!!!! I am off to see various Ganpati's...!! :D

Okay..so here's my FIRST eye makeup tutorial I tried..which came out bad..I agree..I promise it will be better next time!! 

STEP ONE- Prime your eyes..I don't have a primer so I used my tinted moisteriser and then dabbed some loose powder on it... 

STEP 2- I applied a purple shadow first..more on the outer corner and lightly on the inner side..

STEP 3- Then I applied the pink shadow in the inner corner.

Then using a light brown shadow nearest to you skintone, blend in the colours in the crease properly... then apply liner, curl your lashes and apply mascara(which I didn't coz I didn't have one that time.. I bought one day before yesterday!! YAY! )

Now on to the final look..

I think I am getting better day-by-day with the liquid liner! Woohoo!! ^_^

Red and brown winged eyeliner look!!

So it was raining cats and dogs here in Mumbai last weekend..as a result of which there was no college on monday!! All the local trains were cancelled...and no trains means no college!! 

So I ended up doing two eye looks that day..!! I was again trying to do them in the form of a tutorial..but I think I was doing it the wrong way..next time I'll keep the flash on and do it! :)

Here's the look which I did from my only palette left..which was the first one I got last november! :O And I should probably review the eye liner used coz I am loving it!! I am brushing up my eye liner skills..and it is from a local brand called Just Candy. I got it for 40INR!!

Soft "shimmery" Purple Eye look!! Bad news, and a cry for help!

Hey there!! Hows your weekend going? Mine in pretty dull and boring..and I have a kinda bad news for those who wanted me to do eye makeup tutorials...But after the look!

yup..I know..should get a mascara!! :P

The palette..(one from a local brand Kiss Beauty) got all dirty..I think it expired..there were small fungus like things visible..on two of the shades!!! And one on them was the purple shadow!! O_o

But this look was done may be last month..or even before that..and I didn't use that palette foe quite a long time..So there it went..Tossed it directly in the bin!!
Here's the bad part..I won't be able to do the tutorials..unless I buy more shadows!! And I badly need to buy some..coz there's just one palette in my so-called-collection..

Please suggest some eye shadows, singles, palettes..anything..for me..(don't forget..I don't wanna burn a hole in my pocket! mostly drugstore would do..M saving money for it too!! )
